Lieutenant Angela Arutti (died July 14, 1995) was a United States Navy officer. She was pushed overboard the USS Seahawk by Lieutenant Jack Carter and later drowned. Lieutenants Harmon Rabb, Jr. and Caitlin Pike later solved the case and took Lieutenant Carter into custody.

During her service, Angela married Lieutenant Mason Painter, keeping their marriage a secret to avoid a possible transfer.
On July 14, 1995, Lieutenant Arutti wrote a resignation letter to United States Secretary of the Navy John Dalton.
Death[]
After making love to her husband, Arutti made her way back towards the interior of the carrier. On her way, she tripped and fell near the edge of the ship, but managed to climb back up. As soon as she did, however, she was pushed overboard by Lieutenant Jack Carter and later drowned.
Lieutenants Harmon Rabb, Jr. and Caitlin Pike later solved the case and took Lieutenant Carter into custody.
